The Sylvaner history

Originating in Transylvania, the Sylvaner makes its appearance in Alsace at the 18th century.

Tasting of the Sylvaner

Of a late maturity, the Sylvaner is by definition a wine fresh, light, with the discrete fruit, equipped with a refreshing capacity and a pleasant promptness.

Food and wine pairing

The Sylvaner accompanies with wonder shells and shellfish, fish, tortas, soufflés, pork-butcheries, eggs and salads.

The vine

The Sylvaner evolves/moves particularly of course the light, sandy and stony grounds. The strength of the Sylvaner is generally low, but it has an excellent and regular productivity.
